Tribold is a proud sponsor of the Children's Safety Education Foundation.

Planting Fruit Trees in Africa

Through Fruitful Office Tribold supports Planting Fruit Trees in Africa.  This includes the planting of Guava and Papaya trees in Malawi, Africa, in this period. The fruit trees help to tackle the issue of deforestation in Africa, and the resulting impact on global warming. They also help local communities by providing a sustainable source of income.

In the period from February to June 2008, Tribold have planted 39 fruit trees!

Tribold Titans

Tribold Titans

Tribold sponsors a company softball team, the Titans, that participates in the Greater London Mixed Slowpitch Softball League. Since it is a mixed league, teams have to be comprised of 5 boys and 5 girls, and employees' partners and friends are encouraged to join in. Although their home ground is Regents Park they also play away games at various locations around London.

2007 was the Titans’ inaugural season and we've seen the team develop.  2008 will  see the Titans in the 6th division and they're looking forward to the chance to both to show what they have learnt this season and to build on that.  They're now looking forward to some improved results as well as weather!

Artic Foxes

A four-strong team of women, including Tribold software engineer Jenny Pugh, have become the first British all-female team to cross Greenland’s ice sheet. The group, called the Arctic Foxes, battled the elements on skis for 650 kilometres in 6 and a half days to reach Ammasillik on the country’s east coast.

The team used power kites to pull them across the snow on skis, reaching incredible speeds of up to 35km per hour as they challenged the world speed record for traversing the Greenland ice-cap. The record stood at 6 days and 23 hours.

“Since announcing that I was planning to walk across Greenland Tribold has been incredibly supportive of my undertaking. Not only did they allow me to take a 10 week leave of absence but they were also incredibly generous in helping to sponsor part of the expedition.” Jennifer Pugh, Tribold team member.

“Tribold is incredibly excited to have sponsored the Arctic Foxes – supporting their personal challenge, their broader objective of raising awareness of Climate Change and their support of Breakthrough Breast Cancer. We congratulate them on their success and were particularly pleased to have been able to support Tribold team member Jennifer Pugh in the venture.” Simon Muderack, CEO, Tribold.
