Our track record in building relationships with key companies in the communications business is getting stronger every day. Capgemini are a well established consulting organization for the communications industry and we’re very pleased to be able to announce our partnership with them. The relationships we have built with them, and with Convergys Corporation, are helping to get our message about the need for effective product management to a global audience.
The Yankee Group research we announced last month confirms what we have been saying, that product management is a weakness in major Communication Service Providers (CSPs), and that effective product management will reduce complexity and enable the realization of profits.
Now, you and your colleagues can see for yourselves exactly what we are talking about. We've put a demonstration of the Tribold Product Portfolio Manager onto our web site. You can access it by clicking here.
Finally we are pleased to announce Catherine Michel’s re-election to the board of the TeleManagement Forum where her skills and expertise are well respected.
Simon Muderack
CEO

Tribold has become a software partner for international consultancy Capgemini to deliver effective product management solutions to its customers.
By partnering with Tribold, Capgemini will enable its Telecom, Media and Entertainment clients to create a single, centralized enterprise wide product catalog at the heart of their business – delivering a single view of all product data to significantly improve management performance, increase the profitability of products and reduce the time to market for new, converged services.
““Many companies feel ill-equipped to address the challenges of managing thousands of unique products and bundles. Our partnership with Tribold will ensure Capgemini customers can solve these challenges through the deployment of the market’s leading product management portfolio,” said Nigel Kirkby-Green, Head of UK Technology Services at Capgemini.
Dramatic increases in customer demand for new personalized services is exposing weaknesses in the product management strategies of major communications services providers, according to new Yankee Group research. The report highlights a fragmented environment where responsibilities are blurred, current tools are problematic, and reliance on manual processes can double product launch timescales.
Commissioned by Tribold and conducted by Yankee Group, the Serving Generation Me: Why Product Management Needs to Work Smarter report gathered in depth data and responses on current product strategies of global communication service providers.

Tribold has hired two leading industry experts, Ian Pulford as Director of Product Management and Ernest Margitta as Director of Product Marketing. Ernest will play a key role in sales, marketing and customer support, whilst Ian will be responsible for delivering new products to market.
The two appointments are further evidence of Tribold’s ongoing expansion, following strategic partnerships forged with Capgemini and Convergys and last March’s $15million dollar funding round from new investors Esprit Capital Partners and existing investors Eden Ventures.
Margitta joins from Telstra, where he was responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of new products and tools to ensure life cycle and management benefits would be realized.
Pulford moves from his position as Director of Product Management with Evolved Networks Ltd, where he negotiated multi-million pound deals with leading telco operators, and set up sales opportunities in a number of European countries.
