Communication Service Providers (CSPs) run complex business infrastructures. And whilst they may be innovative in their underlying approach to their infrastructure, CSPs have often skirted around the product management challenge they face in taking products to market.
Until recently, CSPs did not see products as the issue at the heart of their future profitability. Even as recent as a year ago, some CSPs were still content in continuing to invest in underlying network and services, while neglecting their ability to package, brand and promote the result. Now, all that has changed. Today Product Management is not only a top-ten issue, it is the top-ten issue with almost every CSP.
Now that Product Management is a primary point of CSP attention, the market for a solution has gained momentum. Moreover, our leading position within this growth market has been validated. The proof comes most recently in two key blue-chip partnerships for Tribold: (1) the syndicated investment by Esprit and Eden in Tribold’s growth strategy and (2) the global OEM agreement between Tribold and Convergys.
Tribold’s approach and solution to CSP Product Management now have widespread market acceptance, a fact which led so many to seek us out at the 3GSM Congress in Barcelona.
We know that many more will want to hear what we have to say, to debate our ideas and to test the value of our products. So please come meet with us at our next industry event, Billing and OSS World in Chicago in April. We welcome the opportunity to tell you more about our very latest developments and successes.
Simon Muderack
CEO
Tribold has gained a syndicated $15m investment from Esprit Capital Partners and existing investors Eden Ventures. This investment delivers the means for Tribold to further develop its sales and support activities and to bring to full maturity its industry-leading suite of Product Management application software for CSPs.
“Securing this further investment will allow us to increase the momentum we have built in the market, and to ensure that our product range will meet the many diverse challenges faced by CSPs in managing products and services across their growing portfolios“ said Simon Muderack.
Tribold will further benefit by welcoming Esprit partner, Nic Brisbourne to the Tribold board.
The 3GSM Congress in Barcelona was an important opportunity for Tribold to demonstrate its end-to-end product management philosophy and to display how its solution is set to resolve one of the biggest OSS/BSS issues facing CSPs. Tribold used the occasion to show how its solution delivered on the prospect of more rapid deployment of new services while reducing business complexity, whilst achieving the significant business benefits that are essential to the financial health of CSPs.
Tribold also took the opportunity to discuss its important OEM partnership with Convergys.
Whether you are an old friend or simply interested in what we have to say, we’ll guarantee to make you welcome in Chicago. We’ll be at the McCormick Center for the two day exhibition – 25-26 April 2007 – to showcase our Product Portfolio Manager software and to make the case that a single product catalog can deliver business benefits unlike any other product management approach.
So, if you are going to be among the 1600 industry professionals attending the event come and meet us, or better still, arrange an appointment with Tribold product management experts to discuss your product management issues and how business benefits flow from the Tribold approach.
Convergys and Tribold have announced an important agreement under which Convergys’ Infinys™ Business Support System will be enhanced to integrate with Tribold’s Product Portfolio Manager™ application software. Convergys will now be able to offer CSPs the opportunity to centralize vital product data into a single product catalog, and improve data integration, product lifecycle management, business intelligence and channel management.
François Lançon, Senior VP of Product Management and Marketing at Convergys, said, “Integration of Tribold’s Product Portfolio Manager™ application within the Infinys footprint addresses this back office challenge with a single view of all products and services for each customer.”
