Tribold Appoints TeleManagement Forum Chairman

03 March 2006

Keith Willetts, the chairman of the TeleManagement Forum, has joined the UK-based product lifecycle management software applications provider, Tribold, as an advisory member.

Willetts, who also acts as an advisory member for BT, will provide input for Tribold on market and product strategy.  He will also represent the company at events, aid in recruitment and raise the profile of the company which develops software that helps communications service providers reduce time to market for products by up to 12 months.
“The opportunity for product lifecycle management software in the current market is huge,” said Mr. Willetts.  “For many telcos creating a new product or service is like fighting through a jungle with a machete.  The old slow manual processes are so inefficient that they are becoming life threatening.  To survive this current wave of change Telcos must become customer focused, agile and innovative.  Bringing products and services to market quickly and efficiently will become a key competitive battleground and automated product life cycle management will move from being optional to essential.”
Simon Muderack, CEO of Tribold, said that having Mr. Willetts representing the organisation would add further momentum to Tribold’s solutions as they gain recognition in the market.

“Having Keith join us is a huge endorsement for what we are trying to achieve at Tribold,” he said.  “The way communications services providers are managing their products is antiquated and those that modernise their systems first will benefit from a major competitive advantage.”
