Tribold appoints David Norris as interim head of engineering to spearhead company's software vision

04 July 2006

04 July, 2006 – UK-based product management applications provider Tribold has further strengthened its offering with the appointment of David Norris as interim head of engineering. Norris, formerly a director at Alterian, a marketing and customer insight applications vendor, will manage multi-site teams and software implementations.

Norris will be responsible for directing engineering and architecture for new Tribold software. In addition he will steer co-development offshore, onshore and nearshore. Norris’ experience in building and running high growth technology companies will be a valuable resource for his co-development, maintenance and support and training teams to draw on.

“The Tribold vision to enable telecoms services providers to supply customers with products they want now and in real time is a subject close to my heart. It is our job to make communications service providers (CSPs) aware of the reality that if their customers cannot get what they want from them they will go to a competitor who can provide it. I am looking forward to aiding the team to design software solutions to improve the product management and OSS/BSS procedures for major telecoms companies,” said Norris.

Simon Muderack, CEO of Tribold, said: “David will play an integral role in the future direction and creation of our product management software. His experience means Tribold’s aim of providing leading CSPs with the ability to get the product and service to market that their customers want, that is ahead of the competition and that they can proactively manage will be a reality.”

Tribold develops software that helps communications service providers reduce time to market for products by up to 12 months.
